Snow Labourer

Full job description

We are looking for hard working and enthusiastic people to join the Prestige Snow Squad this season. If you enjoy working outside, and looking for an opportunity that doesn't have a fixed schedule, this is the position for you!

Duties:

• Clear snow from residential and commercial properties (using shovels, scrapers, backpack blowers, pushers, throwers, and sweepers)
• Learn and follow all safety policies and procedures for the safety of the crew and public on our snow sites.
• Complete paperwork and reporting as needed for each site.
• Basic troubleshooting of equipment when needed.
• Driving company vehicle from site to site as needed.

MUST HAVE:

• Valid Alberta Class 5 drivers license
• Reliable vehicle to get to work each day (early shifts make it impossible to rely on transit)

What you need to know about this position:

• We only work when it snows and usually the day after it snows.
• We are on-call 7 days/week (except Christmas Day and Easter Sunday)
• Position starts immediately upon hiring

Prestige Pop-Up Sprinklers has been providing outdoor services for residential and commercial clients for over 30 years in Calgary and Area. Our Team works hard and has a lot of fun! Although we are hiring for a Snow Labourer position, we are always on the look out for the right candidate to stay on board for other services including Irrigation Techs, Lawn Care Techs, and Holiday Lighting crew.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
